John Blair - We Belong Together



This is a somewhat atypical CTI record, done in the late period of the label in 1977, featuring singer/vitar player John Blair with Googie Coppola on vocals, Cliff Carter on keyboards, Gary King on bass, Steve Gadd on drums, Hiram Bullock on guitar, Sue Evans and Ray Mantilla on percussion and Hugh McCracken on harmonica, plus background vocals. Production by Creed Taylor, arrangements by David Matthews.

Didn't know this other than the single "We belong together/I'm a wizard". As Ish says, maybe not a great album though it has its moments. I like the funky "Don't feel that way" especially. Great sound quality ... thanks a lot.
